By Senator Ben Murray-Bruce of Bayelsa East Senatorial District has reached out to his constituents bearing gift items.
According to the statement made via his Facebook page, the local Councilors highlighted the items needed by the electorate.
Ben Bruce as he is mostly called conferred on his people 500 bags of rice, 1000 Guinea brokade, 1000 wax print, 100 cartoon of tin tomato, 500 blanket, 500 mattress, 50 cartoon of soap.
He explained that the soap was for the victims of oil spillage in the community.
Meanwhile, reactions in the comments box of the post on his page indicates that the vocal Senator who before now preached against stomach infrastructure is now joining the bandwagon of distributing rice.
While some people questioned the source of the money used in buying the distributed items, others asked him if the items will actually solve the problems of his constituents as he earlier lashed the Federal Government for planning to give unemployed graduates N5000 monthly.
