Chinedu Ufere, a Sporting Lagos midfielder, has said that the team is in good shape ahead of the clash against Akwa United.
It was gathered that Sporting Lagos will play away to Akwa United on matchday two of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The much-anticipated game is scheduled for the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, on Sunday.
“We are ready for Akwa United game on Sunday,” the former Kwara United player said.
“We are in good shape, we have goals in us and we want to achieve greatness this season.”
It was learnt that Sporting Lagos recorded a 2-0 win over Gombe United in their first-ever game in the NPFL on Monday.
