Following the recent sporadic gun shot incident at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, the Principal Staff Officer, PSO, to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr Abdulkarim Dauda has been redeployed.
Blackboxnigeria gathered that Dauda, a Commissioner of Police, has been posted to the Police College, Kaduna, as the Deputy Commandant.
A source disclosed that Dauda has enjoyed two special promotions since he was appointed by the President in 2015 to replace, now AIG Moses, who held sway during president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s era.
“His redeployment may not be unconnected to lack of supervision principle of the Force”, said an officer who pleaded anonymity.
In his new posting, Dauda comes under the supervision of an Assistant Inspector-general of Police, AIG, who is the Commandant of the college.
Blackboxnigeria recalls that untill the recent reorganisation of the force by the Inspector-general of Police, IGP, Mr Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, the police colleges were under commissioners of police, CPs.
