“We Should Speak The Truth All The Time”- Channels Television Boss Charges Media Practitioners

Mr Kingsley Uranta, the AGM Operations at Channels Television has urged all media practitioners to be truthful as they go about their daily activities of reporting happenings in the country.

He made the call during The Zone Media Conference where he delivered the keynote address on behalf of the Chairman of Channels Television, Mr John Momoh OON.

In his address, he admonished that the news writers and reporters need to be ethical as they create contents for their numerous readers.

In his speech themed, Media in Nigeria: Journey So Far and key role of media in Governance,  he noted that contents that will promote the culture and tradition of the country needs to be reported more.

He further advised media practitioners to showcase value added programmes and contents which will continue to foster the unity in Nigeria, despite the diversity.

He stated that documentation of electoral events should not only be a general contents that brings the people together, but proper documentary of cultural and ancient events should be added to it.
