Six months after breakup, Elsie, the estranged wife of popular comedian Bright Okpocha, known as Basketmouth, has shared valuable advice for single men and women seeking partners.
In an Instagram video, she emphasized the importance of kindness in a relationship, stating that choosing a partner should be about mutual kindness between both individuals.
Elsie also highlighted the transformative nature of marriage, urging people to prioritize finding someone who loves not only them but also their family.
“Marriage will change you. Marriage will bring out that part of you that you never knew existed but one thing that stands out for me is kindness.
“Whatever you do, make sure you marry a partner that is kind and it shouldn’t just end with you. Marry a partner that is kind to you, your siblings, your parents, your loved ones” she said
Her advice comes after she and Basketmouth announced their separation in December 2022, following 12 years of marriage.
The comedian acknowledged it was a difficult decision but maintained that they both agreed to “end our marriage.”
