In what would be considered as an act of turning a new leaf, a young man from Cross River State identified as Reje Agbor Ojong has openly denounced his membership of cultism.

Ojong said he has given his life to Christ and no longer interested in the activities of a cult group called Aro-Bagar.

This was contained in a letter dated March 8, 2022, signed by him and stamped by the Police Divisional Headquarters, Ikom, Cross River.

According to the letter, Ojong noted that he joined the cult group based on ignorance and he is no longer a part of the group as he has given his life to Christ.

The letter read, “I, Reje Agbor Ojong (Aro Island Checkmate), a native of Adijinkpor No II in Ikon LGA of Cross River State do hereby denounce myself from Aro Bagar Confraternity secret cult activities which i joined ignorantly.

“I state categorically that I will no longer have anything to do with the cult group all members of the group should henceforth leave me alone as i have given my life to Christ. Law Enforcement agencies have been accordingly notified, please.”
