By The vice-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Kashim Shettima is set to give his daughter’s hand in marriage.
Fatima Shettima and her lover, Sadiq Ibrahim Bunu will tie the nuptial knot next weekend, as seen in the wedding invite which surfaced on social media.
Their Wedding Fathia is billed to hold on Saturday, July 30 at the Shehu’s Palace in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
The groom is the son of a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Arc. Ibrahim Bunu who served under the Olusegun Obasanjo administration from May 1999 until February 2001. Bunu, who also hails from Borno State, designed the iconic Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Towers in Abuja.
On July 10, the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola announced Shettima, a former Borno State governor, as his running mate for the 2023 elections.
Shettima’s formal unveiling took place on Wednesday at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua centre in Abuja.
