Hey there,
So I got Mason enrolled in school today. It took a whole lot but I did it. He looked so handsome in his uniform and damn, he reminds me so much of Bode.
He has this air of authority around him, something which Bode gave off so easily. He is his son after all.
He resumed Nursery school and blended in so well that I wondered if he wasn’t going to easily forget me too if he finally meets his father.
Mom spoke to me after I returned about Bode. She said he was arraigned by the police.
Apparently, the case we filed was never closed because he wasn’t found and mom knows somebody that knew somebody high enough to keep the case open after all these years.
But that wasn’t the main reason why he was arrested. Just as I speculated, I was merely one of his scores and he didn’t stop at me.
He was a psychotic lunatic who molested innocent girls for a living and ended up biting off more than he can chew after he did the same to a senator’s daughter.
He has to spend his term and it’s gonna be a long one with all the cases he has on his head.
But somehow, I feel like I should drop my charges against him. I don’t think I’d have the heart to tell Mason that I am one of the reasons why his father is living in jail.
He is paying already for his crimes which he so deserves so I’ll just drop mine. For Mason.
This doesn’t mean I forgive him though, I’ll just try to be less bitter. That’s the best I can do.
I’m glad he’s in jail, that way he cannot come close to my son. It just breaks my heart that Mason has to be in the middle of all of this somehow. I wonder how he will react.
I wonder, diary.
