By President Bola Tinubu’s request to appoint 20 special advisers has been approved by the Senate.
On Tuesday, the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, read the president’s request on the floor of the upper legislative chamber.
The president’s request did not disclose the identities of the 20 special advisers.
Following the reading of the letter, the Senate granted approval to the request.
This development follows Tinubu’s official inauguration as the 16th President of Nigeria.
