By Lagos East Senator, Tokunbo Abiru, on Saturday, joined the lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Consitituency in the House of Representatives, Babajimi Benson, to inspect the site of ongoing Igbe-Oreyo road project.
The Ikorodu-born Senator, after assessing the level of work done on the road so far, commended his counterpart in the green chamber, saying Hon. Benson is delivering quality democracy dividends to his consitituents.
The project, facilitated by Hon. Benson, was initially to cover Igbe road axis and has since been completed.
However, the lawmaker, in response to the pleas by residents of Oreyo, embarked on an additional 500m Oreyo road extension. The road rehabilitation has now covered a total of 2.2km distance up to Oreyo junction.
Accompanying the team was the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA, Bldr Olusesan Mayokun Daini, and some members of Hon. Benson’s iCARE Foundation, as they were received by pleased residents of the beneficiary communities.
