Former Emir of Kano, His eminence Muhammad Lamido Sanusi II has accepted his fate after he was dethroned and banished from his emirate, as stipulated by tradition.
In a video obtained by BlackBox Nigeria, the renowned Economist was all calm as he descended from the private jet that transported him from Kano to Nassarawa State and he was received by a small crowd of people waiting for his arrival. See below for the video.
Dressed in yellow robes, the former traditional ruler was all calm as he disembarked from the plane to meet with the delegation that were on tarmac to receive him..
It was gathered that he is now mandated to be under house arrest in Nassarawa State till further notice as it is in the practice of Hausa tradition.
