Fresh reports from the National Assembly confirms that President Muhammadu Buhari’s nominee, Ibrahim Mustapha Magu has been denied access to become the Chairman of the nation’s anti-graft agency.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that though Magu was granted the second chance to appear before the Senate after his earlier rejection, he was still denied clearance after a voting process.
Magu however failed to answer major questions posed to him by the legislators which eventually made most of them to vote against his favour.
When Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki asked for the confirmation of Magu, Naysayers outweighed the legislators who voiced Aye in his favour.
Senator Dino Melaye of Kogi West also presented a new letter presented by the Department of State Service indicating that Magu failed the integrity test.
The paragraph 14 of DSS report indicted the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, making him to fail the security report.
