Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed new aides, in what may be considered a major cabinet reshuffle ahead of the 2023 elections.
Sanwo-Olu, who is seeking a second term in office, appointed five new Special Advisers.
He, however, reappointed his Special Adviser on Civic Engagement, Princess Aderemi Adebowale, and Special Adviser on Housing, Mrs Toke Benson-Awoyinka.
According to his Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, the governor sworn in the seven cabinet members on Thursday at the Banquet Hall of the Lagos House, Ikeja.
The new cabinet members include: Dr Olajide Abiodun Babatunde, Special Adviser, E-GIS and Planning Matters; Engr. Abiola Okanlawon Moshood Olowu, Special Adviser, Commerce and Industry; Mr Robert Bolaji, Special Adviser, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; Hon. Sola Giwa, Special Adviser on Transportation; and Barr. Femi Martins, Special Adviser, Tourism, Arts and Culture.
