The Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appointed six persons to be his special advisers.
The Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Mrs. ‘Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, unveiled this development in an official statement released on Monday.
According to the statement, the appointed Special Advisers will be entrusted with key responsibilities across different sectors, reflecting the diverse needs of the state.
The list of appointees includes, Dr. (Mrs) Iyabo Oyeyemi Ayoola as Special Adviser, Central Internal Audit, Mr. Olalekan Hafeez Balogun as Special Adviser, Economic Planning & Budget, Hon. Akinyemi Ajigbotafę as Special Adviser, Community Development, Very Rev. Bukola Adebiyi as Special Adviser, Christian Religion, Dr. Abdullahi Jębę as Special Adviser, Muslim Religion, and Hon. Ismail Odesanya as Special Adviser, DAWN Commission & S/W Integration.
Congratulating them, Barrister Mrs. Salu-Hundeyin, conveyed her heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed Special Advisers.
She also emphasized the importance of their roles in aligning their efforts with Governor Sanwo-Olu’s overarching vision for a Greater Lagos.
Therefore, with immediate effect, these appointments are expected to facilitate a closer connection between the government and its citizens, enabling more targeted policies and strategies to be implemented in response to the unique needs of various communities.
