SAD! Man, 37, commits suicide in Ikorodu

One Seyi Onayemi, 37, chose to give up on life’s battles by claiming his own life by allegedly drinking a poisonous substance, suspected to be snipper insecticide.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana confirmed the tragic incident in a press release sent to Blackbox Nigeria.

DSP Bala said the Shagamu Road Police Station had received a distress call at about 11p.m. following the tragic incident.

His corpse was recovered from his residence, 7th Avenue, Rofo Estate, Odogunyan, Shagamu road, Ikorodu and deposited in the mortuary for autopsy by the homicide detectives

The homicide detectives also recovered the empty bottle of the poisonous substance and a suicide note.
