By Return All Your Pensions And Abuja House To Kwara State- Falana Calls Out Saraki
Constitutional lawyer, Femi Falana SAN has called on the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki to return all the pensions he haa been receiving since he left office as the Governor of Kwara State.
The vocal lawyer was reacting to the claims of Senator Saraki where he stated that he had stopped the Kwara State Government from paying him pension as former Governor after he was queried by SERAP.
Falana insisted that it was not enough for Saraki to stop collecting the pension but also return all what he had received since he has agreed that it was wrong both constitutionally and morally.
He also added that Saraki needed to return the Abuja house which was bight for him by the State Government insisting that he already has official residence as a lawmaker and also as the Number Three citizen of the country.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Senator Abubakar Olubukola Saraki drafted the benefits of former Governors of Kwara State when he was in office and was the first to benefit from the juicy package. He was in office as the Governor from 2003 till 2011. He became a lawmaker same year after replaced his sister at the National Assembly. He has since been receiving pension as a former Governor until recently when he ordered the stoppage.
