Reps Member Intensifies Campaign Against Hunger As iCare Food Bank Distributes Food Items To 500 People

It was a case of combating extreme hunger in Ikorodu Federal Constituency as Honourable Babajimi Benson through the iCare Foodbank distributes 500 packs of non perishable food items to Constituents in his continued effort to ensure no Constituent go to bed hungry.

The distribution for the month of April is designed to coincide within the week that will herald the celebration of Easter to make it memorable for constituents, who might not have the means to enjoy the festivity.

The programme that has been consistently held every month since October 2016 has been hailed as a laudable initiative amongst residents of Ikorodu and even outside the shores of Nigeria.

Last month, as part of the outreach efforts of iCare Food Bank and how it has been able to deploy data in meeting the food needs of people in Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Babajimi Benson was invited to the 14th Annual Presidents United to Solve Hunger(PUSH) and Universities Fighting World Hunger Summit(UFWH), at the University of Maine , United States of America, as a panelist to discuss,” UN Challenge 2030: Working to Achieve a Zero Hunger World”.
