Amid preparations for the 2023 general elections, iCare Foundation, an initiative of the lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Babajimi Benson, has commenced INEC Continuous Voters pre-registration exercise for eligible voters in Ikorodu.
For ease, iCare Foundation has provided computers, internet access and human resources at designated centres across Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
Hundreds of residents came out to partake in the exercise which officially kicked off in Ijede and Imota LCDAs, on Saturday, January 22.
While some existing voters visited the centres to validate their lost/damaged PVCs and as well relocate their cards, others especially young people who are 18 years and above also turned out for registration.
The exercise, which will hold from January 22 to February 6, 2022, was designed to assist eligible voters, especially those who have no ICT access or find it difficult to pre-register on INEC portal via (https://cvr.inecnigeria.org).
It will also cater for those who have lost their cards, changed address, and those who just turned 18 years, among others.
Details about other locations and dates across Ikorodu Federal Constituency for the exercise are contained in the flyer below.
