Spanish giant, Real Madrid CF are keen on landing Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen in the summer.

Los Blancos are on the lookout for a long term striking force. Although Karim Benzema is playing the best football of his life, his age means that Madrid need to think ahead and find a player who would supply goals in years to come.

Erling Haaland has been the hottest property in world football for a couple of years now. It’s no secret that just about every elite club will try to lure the Norwegian prodigy this year.

But according to trusted Italian journalist Fabio Santini, a transfer market expert claims that Real Madrid would swoop for the 23-year-old Nigerian Victor Osimhen should they fail to land Erling Haaland.

Osimhen has done well this season, scoring 11 goals in 22 games across all competitions. Napoli’s asking price is believed to be around the $90 million mark, which isn’t an unreasonable price for such a quality goalscorer.

Although Napoli are not in a hurry to part ways with their star striker, they are already planning for replacements in case someone indeed comes knocking. Apart from Real Madrid, Manchester United have also been mentioned as the talisman’s potential destination.
