Fresh reports emerging from the Lagos State Seat of Power confirms that the Lagos State Police Command have been served a letter to immediately produce the killers of Surajudeen Olatunji Bakare, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority staff that was mobbed to death in Apapa area of the State.
In a letter written on the order of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, Justice was been demanded for telling late Level 14 State official.
BlackBox Nigeria learnt that the letter written by the State Commissioner of Justice and Attorney-General, Adeniji Kazeem directed the State Police Command to use the viral video circulating online to arrest the individuals who murdered the official while he was on duty.
Part of the letter states, “The late Bakare was a LASTMA official, who was in Apapa area of the state, executing his lawful duties and it was in exercising this duty that he was attacked and murdered by persons that have apparently been visually recorded and same circulated on social media.
“This is a crime that is clearly an affront to civilisation and the sustenance of law and order, which the administration of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, has sworn to uphold.”
