The principal of Lagos State University International School, Mr Odumbo Taiwo Abiodun along with many others were today, March 23rd, 2019, honoured with the professional membership of the Institute of Corporate Administration (ICAD).
In a letter that heralded his conferment, ICAD applauded the ace educationalist for his contributions to the progress of the Institute and that he has proven beyond any reasonable doubts that he is deserving of the professional award.
“This is in recognition and appreciation of your dedication and commitment to official matters, upwardly mobile and visionary approach to administrative functions and dynamism in the adoption of contemporary management principles.” Part of the letter reads.
The concluding part of the official letter reads,
“We look forward to having your completed form, citation and your guest to witness the concernment.”
The Institute held its annual investiture for new members at the Centre for Management Development, off Lagos-Ibadan Expressway by old Toll Gate,
Shangisha, Ikeja.
Speaking to the theme of the occasion “Mastering the Key Competencies for the Changed World of Work”, the Director General of the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC), Harrison Ajose, said that to be an efficient and effective administrator in the 21st century, members of ICAD must share some critical competencies such as possessing the ability to engage in critical thinking, communication effectively, collaboration with people and be creativity and innovative in administering their offices.
In an interview with BlackBox Nigeria after his investiture, Odumbo said he was very honoured to be a professional member of the institution has it would afford him the opportunity to further ingrain himself with the ethics of administration and creating the right environment with his colleagues at work.
