Legendary Hollywood star, Vin Diesel, has declared ‘Calm Down’ by Afro-rave sensation, Rema, as his favourite song.
Born Mark Sinclair, the famed ‘Fast and Furious’ star said his young daughter, Pauline is incredibly in love with the song.
He said this at the European Gala for ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol 3’, the Marvel Studios film, held in Paris The second sequel of the movie franchise is set to be in theatres from May 5.
“I have to say this. My daughter Pauline, who is eight years old, runs around the house, going ‘Calm Down, Calm Down’. You know Rema?” he asked.
‘Calm Down’ was first released in February 2022 as a single off ‘Rave and Roses’, Rema’s debut album.
The singer would later feature Selena Gomez, the US songstress, for the remix of the hit song in August of the same year.
Since the release of ‘Calm Down’, it has garnered millions of streams across music platforms.
