The Lagos State Commissioner of police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, Friday, ordered an in-depth investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of one Tina Ezekwe, 17.
Following the investigation, two police officers suspected to have carried out the shooting have been arrested and subjected to internal disciplinary proceedings.
The suspects are; ASP Theophilus Otobo and Inspector Oguntoba Olamigoke attached to the Bariga police station.
Tina was killed on 26, May, after the suspected police officers fired shots from their pin down point along third mainland bridge. Another victim, Musa Yakubu, 35, was said to have sustained injuries from the gun shot.
Tina who took a bullet through her left shoulder, was immediately rushed to the hospital.
However, she died two days after, with the second victim in a stable condition.
