By The Lagos State Police has arrested four suspects for allegedly killing a 16-year-old house help, in Bariga area of Lagos. Blackboxnigeria gathered.
The Bariga police division, upon receiving a distress call, arrested one Shade Moke, 41, who conspired with three other suspects to kill one Halimat Sodiq, 16.
The victim was alleged of stealing N2000 from Shade.
Shade invited the three other suspects to her residence, where they tortured the victim to death, discreetly burying her at the Atan cemetery, Lagos.
The four suspects while denying the allegations, claimed that the victim convulsed after drinking water.
Adding that the victim was buried by her parent and not them.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has order the immediate transfer of the case to the state criminal investigation department, Yaba, for discreet investigation and diligent prosecution.
