A bullion van driven by police officers on Monday injured at least four persons in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory as it rammed into another taxi.
The incident which happened near the Sani Abacha Barracks, saw four persons injured when it drove against the traffic catching many road users unawares.
There were different accounts of what happened but an eye witness account quoted by the News Agency of Nigeria said , “The driver of the bullion van decided to take one way and with the rate of his speed, it rammed into an Abuja painted taxi marked Kaduna, DKA 601XA.
“As a result of the speed, the driver collided with the oncoming vehicle; another painted taxi driver,’’
The sight of security men driving against the traffic in Abuja and many other cities have become common with nothing being done to it by the authorities.
