By Co-founder and chief operating officer of fintech giant PiggyVest, Odunayo Eweniyi has emerged as one of the winners of the debut edition of the Lagos Youth Awards.
The 27-year-old was listed in the ‘Most Outstanding Young Person in Tech’ category alongside Desayo Ajisegiri (Trove), Iyinoluwa Samuel Aboyeji (Co-Founder; Flutterwave, Andela) and Adeola Shasanya (Afro-Tech Girls).
Eweniyi, who beat her contenders via public voting, was announced winner at the event which took place on Sunday, Boxing Day at the prestigious Sheraton Hotel, Lagos.
The COVID-19 compliant event recognised no fewer than 15 outstanding young people across different categories at this year’s edition tagged “The Working Tribe”.
The award is an initiative of BBN360, a thriving media company based in Lagos, Nigeria, in collaboration with some youth-based non-profit organizations.
