By Thursday, July 13th, 2017 marked the day the crowned Prince of Akesan Kingdom, Professor Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun traditionally returned home to his royal father’s Palace in the town located in Igando area of Lagos State.
The Prince, who is also the Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University was received with people adorned in colourful attire who were happy at the sight of their amiable son.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Prof Fagbohun’s father, Oba Gbadewolu Abayomi Alabi Fagbohun was until recently the Baale of Akesan before his stool was elevated to an Obaship stool with the title, Alakesan of Akesan Kingdom.
Been the heir of the throne, tradition stipulates that Prof Fagbohun makes a triumphant entry into the Kingdom after his father, Oba Fagbohun has been fully installed as the traditional ruler of the kingdom.
He was received by well-wishers and villagers who graced the entrance of the kingdom to welcome him.
