A certain picture of President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo in Benue regalia has since hit the social media and currently trending in the wake of helping out the flood victims that has since ravaged the State.

For days now, campaigns have been started by different organisations and individuals as they make available relief materials for residents affected by the flood, but neither Buhari nor Osinbajo has been seen in the State to identify themselves as they did during the last General Election when they went to solicit for votes.

Thousands of residents have been displaced by the flood and attempts made by some individuals to get relief materials delivered to the needy through the National Emergency Management Agency have been delayed as the newly appointed Director General, Mustapha Yunusa Maihaja allegedly stated that the Agency will be available from Tuesday September 6th against when they were contacted due to the public holiday that started on Friday, September 1st.
