The lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Babajimi Benson, on Saturday, embarked on an inspection tour of facilitated projects across three local councils in the Ikorodu area of Lagos.
Benson, who is the Chairman of the House Committee on Defence, visited Ikorodu Local Government and Ikorodu North, Imota and Ijede LCDAs.
Accompanied on the inspection by members of his strategy team, the lawmaker first stopped by the newly constructed network of roads linking some parts of Ikorodu Local Government and Ikorodu North LCDA. They include Oshin Ladega Street, Agbala, Amudat Jokomba Street, Olokunola Street, Oladunjoye Oriola Street (Better food), Oguntuga Street, Igbeyin Adun Street, Olaore Oshikoya Street, Ayodele Ayeni Street, Giwa Efugbotu Street and Adeyiga Street (Benson Estate linking Munirat Aleje and Benson Bus Stop).
The inspection train then moved to Imota LCDA Secretariat where an 80-bed Mother and Child Centre is currently under construction and nearing completion. Benson toured the facility in the company of the Ranodu of Imota, Oba Wasiu Agoro. The team would later pay a royal visit to the monarch’s palace.

In Ijede LCDA, the Reps member was received by the Council Chairman, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba and elated party members as well as residents. The delegation then took a tour of three newly constructed roads –Sholumade, Eleku and Olutusin.
