In celebration of this year’s Christmas, a non-profit organization, PEPC Foundation, on Friday, donated food boxes to some workers of the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LASWA).
No fewer than 130 women who work daily to keep the streets of Lagos clean benefitted from the outreach as the founder of PEPC Foundation, Barr. Luqman Akinsanya presented them with the boxes.
The gesture, according to the organisation, was in line with its mandate to reach out to people during the festive season.
Meanwhile, PEPC Foundation donated a total of 5,000 food boxes to single mothers, widows and the elderly in Ikorodu and Ibeju Lekki areas of Lagos.
