Anita Okoye has demanded that her husband, Paul Okoye, one half of defunct music duo, PSquare also known as Rudeboy, pay a sum of $15,000 equivalent to 7.8million Naira monthly as spousal support for herself and their kids.

This is part of the demands she made in the petition she filed before Federal High Court in Abuja, according to a court document.

Recall reports of Paul and Anita’s divorce first made rounds following her relocation to the US with their three children.

The news of their pending divorce also came as a massive shock to both fans, families and their close friends, BlackBox Nigeria reported.

Part of the document containing the directive of the petition reads, “payment of monthly maintenance sum of $15,000.00 (US dollars) for the general welfare, education and health of the three children of the union who are presently in schools in the United States of America until they are of age.”

Anita, who is seeking the dissolution of their 7-year marriage, said Paul could challenge the petition if he feels dissatisfied.

Meanwhile, Paul Okoye’s lawyer, Somadina Eugene Okorie, has said that he is yet to receive any briefing concerning the reported break up.

“I don’t think this subject worth breaking a sweat on, since as I talk with you, I’m yet to receive a brief touching the news already in circulation. If the story is real, I would have been briefed by now and this is devoid of sentiments,” he was quoted as saying by ENigeria Newspaper on Friday.
