A 36-year-old woman, identified as Ann Grace Aguti, has married three men and allocated them three out of the seven tiny huts in her compound in Ngora, Uganda.
It was reported that the actions of Aguti incurred the wrath of her father, Pastor Peter Ogwang of Christ Foundation Ministries.
Pastor Peter, who was greatly upset with his daughter’s action mobilised the clan members to intervene and evict the new grooms.
Pastor Peter said “The practise is unacceptable in the Teso community. Aguti is a mother of three and she’s currently pregnant.
Grace, while explaining herself said “My desire in my marriage was to have a ‘tender, loving husband’, who can provide all my needs as a housewife, when my husband was not meeting that need, I decided to do things my way.
“My husband was useless and I remained the breadwinner, when I left him, I started looking for that special someone which lead me to the three men I married”.
The three men are, Richard Alich, a widower and retired police officer who is a father to 10, John Peter Oluka, a fairly well-off peasant, who has a home in the village and Michale Enyaku, a senior bachelor, who also has land and a home in another village.
The men disclosed that they have no problem with the arrangement, “we regard Aguti as the head of the family, we dine together during meals and obey her instructions, including conjugal rights roster
