By Some hours ago, the news of veteran Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye resigning from his position as General Overseer at the Redeemed Christian Church of God Nigeria hit the internet but not many know that the clergyman still maintains his position at the worldwide stage.

What this simply means is that, he only left the helms of affairs of the church in Nigeria, but still in control as a top shot in world wide, which Nigeria still falls under.
According to information released by Adeleke Adeboye, the last son of the clergy who is also his Personal Assistant, Pastor Adeboye had to step aside in compliance with the new legal requirements by the Financial Regulations Council for all registered non-profit organisations which the RCCG falls under.
The law states that the maximum period of 20 years should be adopted for the leader to head the organisation after which he retires and they are not permitted to be replaced by their family members.
While advising the church members to understand the new structure, he also called on them to teach people around them that Pastor Adeboye remains the General Overseer of RCCG Worldwide.
Leke said, “Members should understand this new structure and go about their service to God and humanity in holiness and soul winning”
“We appeal to members to educate people around them and not spread inaccurate information, as Pastor E.A Adeboye remains the General Overseer of RCCG Worldwide.
