Residents of some communities in Nnewi South Local Government of Anambra State were shocked and terrified on Wednesday morning when they found three charred bodies at different locations.
The identities and motives of the victims and perpetrators are still unknown.
According to eyewitnesses, two of the corpses were seen at Utuh junction, along Sorog road, while the third one was at Amannal junction, Ebenator.
It was said that they were all burnt beyond recognition and left on the roadside.
The police have not yet confirmed the incident or launched any investigation.
When contacted, the police spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga said he had not received any report about the gruesome discovery.
