It was gathered that the EFCC arrested Mr. Chukwuma earlier today (Tuesday) at his residence. Investigations however reveal the arrest might not be unconnected to the ongoing loan controversy between the businessman and GT Bank who are his creditors.
Innoson Vehicles and GT Bank have over time had a running battle over financial dealings with the case currently in court according to sources in the know.

BlackBox Nigeria has further gathered that after hearing the news of their principal’s arrest, workers at Innoson Vehicles’ plant in Emene, Enugu state have staged a protest over what they are calling “the illegal bundling of Innoson to Lagos by EFCC organised by GTB.”
