Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress has for the second time lost his bid at Edo governorship race.

The clergyman turned politician first tried his shot in 2016 on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party but lost to Godwin Obaseki of the All Progressives Congress.

According to official reports making rounds online, the incumbent Governor and candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Governor Obaseki is in clear lead and about to be declared winner of the September 19th governorship election held in Edo State.

Ize-Iyamu now becomes the first politician to lose a governorship ticket to same opponent despite switching political parties.
