By Origin Gardens and Zoo is a tourism outfit in Ikorodu area of Lagos State. The edifice boasts of a museum with artifacts gathered from every part of Nigeria and major animals primarily see in zoos.
During the Easter holiday, the tourism hub played host to two of the division’s lawmakers; Hon Babajimi Benson (Ikorodu Federal Constituency) and Hon Nurudeen Solaja (Ikorodu State Constituency II).
For Hon Benson, the experience was an interesting one as he took to his Facebook page to narrate how he enjoyed the Easter break days after it elapsed.
According to the Federal lawmaker, he said the gardens and zoo can turn to a bigger tourism hub and ancillary services if encouraged with patronage.
Among the animals he saw at the zoo includes; a lion, hyenas, python, baboons, wolves, crocodiles, ostriches, peacocks, tortoises, parrots, some birds and wild monkeys.
