Old Rivals Meet Again, Gets Paired In Champions’ League Group Stage Matches

 

Old rivals have been matched to face each other in the Group stage matches of the 2017/18 UEFA Champions’ League. The competition which features 32 teams across Europe started proper late June and will run till May 26th, 2018.

The group stage matches are scheduled to start on September 12th. The 2018 Final match will be played at the NSC Olimplyskly Stadium in Kiev, Ukraine.

Current Champions, Real Madrid has been drawn along side one of its arch rivals, Dortmund of Germany in Group H. English side, Tottenham Hotspur and APOEL were also included in the group.

Another Spanish giant, Barcelona were tagged with Italian power house, Juventus. They both played in the finals in May, 2015 and has since been rivals.

New comers, Manchester United who have been away from the competition for a while was paired with Benfica, Basel and CSKA Moscow in Group A.
