Following Wizkid’s comment at an interview with 10 Magazine, where the artiste said “rap is boring and dead” to him, read here, the singer was abruptly replied by street-hop act, Oladips in a diss track.
The indigenous rapper took to his Instagram handle and started the track with “Mr She Tell Me Say”, a notable line known with Wizkid. He mocked Wizkid for not helping his signed artiste Terri to the top of his career.
“When last did you f*cking helped a rapper, shey e le daun sha?”. He said Wizkid should take the backseat if he doesn’t have anything to contribute.
However, fans of Wizkid, addressed as the Wizkid FC came heavily on the artiste via a series of tweets, with some claiming he doesn’t have any achievements in the music industry after he left Reminisce’s record label broke.
@Deevybs wrote “ Oladips that has dipped since the beginning of his career sef dey diss Terri. Funniest thing I’ve seen today”
@Swissekpo1 wrote “Oladips made a point and I love it, but the fact still remains that rap music in Nigeria is struggling. Omo even amapiano gets more airplay than rap.”
In the middle of the drags, some tweeps still supported the indigenous artiste for speaking up and not keeping quiet.
He was also supported by fellow indigenous artists Dandizzy and Kabex.
