By Okowa, Wife Go Into Isolation As Daughter Tests Positive To COVID19
Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and First Lady, Dame Edith Okowa has both gone into isolation as the test result of their daughter Marily Okowa returns positive to coronavirus disease.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered from a source in Asaba that the virus is currently on community spread as several persons has reportedly tested positive to the virus.
Just recently, the Secretary to State Government and Commissioner of Information both contacted the virus just as two other members of staff of the Delta State Government also tested positive. This turn of events has caused the State to shut down offices in Government house as all staff were advised to continue working from home.
Following new reports disclosing the status of the Governor’s daughter, the Governor and the First Lady has gone into isolation and speculations have it that their samples have been taken for COVID19 test. This new development is currently causing apprehension among members of the staff of Delta State Government who are currently working from home after some colleagues tested positive to the virus.
Delta State recorded 106 new cases on Thursday, June 25th, taking the total tally in the State to 715 cases since the first case was reported in the State.
