Hon Yinka Mafe, was reportedly dead on Tuesday night which was also his birthday.
The immediate past Majority leader of ogun state House of Assembly died at Olabisi Olabisi Onabanjo Teaching Hospital OOUTH around 10pm where he was rushed to after complaining of chest pain shortly after cutting his birthday cake.
The birthday batch took place at the law maker hotel, Tenth planet Sagamu council Area of Ogun state.
It was gathered that Hon. Mafe’s remains has been deposited in the morgue of the Olabisi Onabanjo Teaching Hospital OOUTH
The lawmaker from Sagamu local government represented Remo state Constituency 1 at the ogun state House of Assembly for two terms (8years). He contested under APM for federal House of Representatives to represent Remo federal Constituency but lost to the All progressive Congress flag bearer.
A resident of his Constituency, Sagamu, described late Mafe as a brilliant young politician told community herald that he would be missed for promoting young talents and masses friendly initiatives.
Mafe who was born on Feb 4th, 1974 was said to have complained of chest pain.
While commiserating with the wife, children and the entire members of the family of the deceased, and indeed the people of Sagamu 1 State Constituency, the APC prays that God will give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
