Hustle and Bustle, a club owned by socialite and businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu popularly known as Obi Cubana has been shut “till further notice”.

The club, located in Abuja, was shut down by its management after a female clubber was electrocuted. The incident reportedly happened on Sunday.

Confirming the development, the club said it had suspended activities indefinitely, while commiserating with the victim’s family.

“We are closed till further notice. This is due to the loss of our esteemed client. We are deeply saddened by this situation and need time to heal from it.

“Our prayer are with the families of the lost soul. May her soul Rest In Peace. We sympathize with the family on this unbearable loss. Kindly bear with us as we pass through this storm,” the statement reads.

The club’s owner, Obi Cubana came into spotlight after the extravagant burial he staged for his late mother earlier this year in Oba, Anambra State.

The event was attended by several celebrities, business people and politicians who sprayed money lavishly, and over 200 cows were reportedly slaughtered.

It can be recalled that the business tycoon was recently arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged money laundering and tax evasion, but was released on adminstrative bail after spending three days in detention.
