A social worker identified simply as Folake alias Flakky has died mysteriously three days after celebrating her birth at the popular ThePlace and Royal Flex club in Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
According to information gathered by BlackBox Nigeria, the socialite known to most upwardly mobile youths in Ikorodu was said to have hit her leg on a staircase at one of the clubs on Friday, November 13, 2020, with no serious complications.
Flakky who is said to be around 27 years of age was said to have complained about mild pains to the leg and died before she could be taken to the hospital.
One of those who saw her at The Place club on Friday said she did not show any sign of sickness or pain.
”After leaving The Place, she came to Royalflex to celebrate with her friends who were already holding a birthday bash for her. She arrived around after 2 am full of life, I am visibly surprised at her death,” another close friend told BlackBox Nigeria.
The corpse of Folake had since be interred according to Islamic rite at Igbe Lara, Muslim private cemetery in Igbogbo, on Monday, November 16, 2020.
