No Jobs Were Lost At TVC Communications, Says CEO, Andrew Hanlon

TVC Communications has debunked the rumours making round that 250 staff were laid off due to the arson attack on its Ikosi-Ketu studios.

The company which owns TVC, TVC News, MAX FM (Lagos & Abuja) & Adaba FM dismissed these “misleading reports” in a statement released by its CEO, Andrew Hanlon.

“The reference to 250 jobs related to those of our employees who had been physically displaced due to the fire at our premises, this does not mean those same employees had subsequently lost their jobs due to the fire,” Hanlon said.

He stated that all 550 staff remains with the company and “have merely now been relocated to temporary offices” as the company builds “a bigger and better television studio complex.”
