Nigeria’s Former Minister of Agriculture Celebrates Being A Grandfather
It is not every now and then one is likely to see a well accomplished individual that has made an impeccable impression of his career take out time of his busy schedule to celebrate family and loved one.
This rare scenerio was depicted earlier today by Nigeria’s former Minister of Agriculture, Akinwumi Adesina who took to his Twitter handle @akin_adesina to celebrate being a grandfather with his granddaugther held in his hands.
The former minister who is the current President of the Africa Development Bank, AfDB expressed in exciting words how elated he was to be a grand father.
He wrote,
“Today is one of my happiest days in life, holding my beautiful granddaughter. God is good.”
Recall that the 59 years old was confered the 2017 World Food Prize award for his activities over the past two decades with the Rockefeller Foundation, the Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) and as the then Minister of Agriculture in Nigeria.
