Governor Akinwumi Ambode was alleged in the report to have initially sponsored the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Jimi Agabaje before he decided to switch his financial supports to the candidate of the ADP.

In a brief chat with Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi, BlackBox Nigeria gathered from the candidate that there is no element of truth in the account of members of the ruling party as he vehemently debunked the claims.

BOG who spoke in vernacular further suggested that even if there was an element of truth in the narration, it may just be that someone within the party is defrauding them which he is not by any means associated to.
