By Nigeria’s female basketball team defeats DR Congo in second consecutive win at ongoing #AfroBasketWomen2017
It was a win back to back for D’Tigress, Nigeria’s female basketball team as they defeated rivals, D.R. Congo in their second game of the ongoing FIBA Women’s Afrobasket 2017. The ladies beat DRC in an embarassing win of 84-47 points.
D’Tigress’ win came just a day after beating Mozambique 80-69.
Nigeria will now be facing Egypt this morning in their third group stage bout. Egypt had earlier defeated DRC 99-72.
With coach Sam Vincent confident of his side’s commitment to winning the competition, the ladies captained by Aisha Mohammed have eyes set on the trophy.
The Afrobasket Women 2017 is going down in Bamako, Mali.
