How Nigerians Raised Millions For Family Of Late Police Officer In 9 Hours

Nigerians in their numbers have shown support for the late Police officer, Sergeant Iboko, who was reported to have died after he suffered bullet wounds while on duty at Zenith Bank Owerri when robbers attacked. Millions of Naira was raised for his needy Family barely 9 hours after it was launched.

The officer who was the only one that faced the four armed robbers that invaded the bank earlier in the year sustained bullet wounds that eventually took his life.

To appreciate his effort to have died in active service, Nigerians chose to honour the late officer by making donations through a GoFundMe account opened in his name.

Kayode Ogundamisi who launched the account revealed that the initial target was a N200,000 to settle his rent but it was surprising to see it at N4m after about 9hours he launched it open,
