Nigerian Breweries Plc, one of the leading breweries in the country, has announced an increase in the prices of some of its products, effective from Monday, February 19, 2024.

In a notification addressed to all direct customers in the West Zone, dated February 12, 2024, the company expressed its gratitude for the partnership and commitment of its stakeholders.

The notification, signed by Lekan Awosanya, Zonal Business Manager-West, highlighted the need for the price adjustment to address the challenges posed by escalating input costs.

The affected brands include a wide range of popular beverages such as Star Lager Beer, Gulder Lager Beer, Legend Extra Stout, Heineken Lager Beer, Climax, Goldberg Lager, Life Continental Lager, Ace Passion, Star Lite, Star Radler, 33 Export Lager Beer, Williams Dark Ale, Turbo Kings Dark Ale, More Lager Beer, Star Radler Red Fruits, and Desperados, among others.

The notification assured customers that all open orders placed before 00.00hrs on Monday, February 19, 2024, and fully funded will be honored at the current prices. However, any excess orders beyond the communicated quantity will be subject to the revised pricing structure.

The notification reads, “In appreciation of our great partnership and your commitment, we will deliver at current prices all open orders that are fully funded and created in our system before 00.00hrs on Monday 19th February, 2024.

” The exact quantity of orders that will be allowed will be communicated to you by your Regional Business Manager(RBM). Any order in excess of this quantity will be re-invoiced at the new price on the 19th of February, 2024,” it added.
