Nigeria Police Invites Lagos Lawyer For Impersonation, Threatening Violence, Breach Of Public Peace

The Nigeria Police Force on Thursday, February 23rd formally wrote a Lagos lawyer, rights activist and publisher, Adesina Ogunlana ESQ for his involvement in an alleged case of breach of Public Peace. The Police invitation was contained in the official letter sent to his Chambers in Palmgrove area of Lagos.

It was stated in the letter sent to him that the Police were investigating him on a case of Impersonation, Threatening Violence and Conduct likely to Cause Breach of the Public Peace.

He was however directed to report to the Commissioner of Police, General Investigation Section, Criminal Intelligence & Investigation Department Annex, Alagbon Close, Ikoyi, Lagos on Monday, February 27th.

BBN gathered that Ogunlana, an Alumni of Lagos State University was involved in a leadership tussle at the Lagos Chapter of the Nigerian bar Association after he emerged winner of the election conducted for the post of Chairman.

He has since then been involved with the leadership tussle of the Ikejar Bar with Mr Dele Oloke, who also continues to parade himself as the Chairman of the most vibrant Branch of the NBA.
